How do I log an event?
Type naturally in the Chat tab — for example, "Riley had 4oz of formula" or "dirty diaper at 2pm." The AI assistant understands times, amounts, and details automatically. You can even log multiple events in one message, like "diaper change and a 4oz bottle for Riley."
How do I edit or delete an event?
Tell the AI assistant (e.g., "Change Riley's last feeding to 5oz" or "Delete Riley's last diaper"), or tap the event in the Calendar to edit or delete it directly.
What types of events can I track?
Sleep, feeding (breast, bottle, or solids), diaper changes, temperature, symptoms, medications, notes, checkups, immunizations, growth measurements, and pumping sessions.
What can the AI assistant do?
Log, edit, and delete events through conversation. Answer data questions about sleep patterns, feeding history, diaper counts, growth percentiles, and vaccine status. Generate charts (e.g., "Show me Riley's sleep pattern this week") and provide age-appropriate context. The assistant provides informational insights, not medical advice — always consult your pediatrician.
How do I add a child?
Go to Settings → Family → Add Child. Enter your child's name, date of birth, and sex. You can also add an optional profile photo. Alternatively, just tell the AI assistant in Chat — for example, "Add my daughter Riley, born January 15, 2026" and it will register the child for you.
How do I add a family member?
With a Family plan, go to Settings → Family → Add Member and enter their email address. Everyone in the family sees all events in real-time. Added members join for free and can log events and view daily care data.
What can different family roles see?
The family owner and parents (Mother/Father) have full access including medical analytics (Health, Growth, Checkups, Immunizations). Other roles (Babysitter, Nanny, etc.) can log daily care events and edit/delete their own, but cannot view medical analytics.
How do I track pumping?
Pumping is available for users with the Mother role. Enable it in Settings → Profile → Track Pumping. You can then log pumping sessions and view daily volume trends in Analytics.
How do I switch units or language?
Go to Settings → Preferences. Switch between US (oz, lb, in, °F) and Metric (ml, kg, cm, °C). Babbl Baby supports 13 languages — the AI assistant responds in your selected language.
How do I change the app's appearance?
Go to Settings → Preferences. Choose Pink, Blue, or Dark mode. The Auto Dark toggle switches to dark mode at sunset based on your location.
What plans are available?
- Parent — All event types, up to 10 children, all analytics categories, and AI chat. Single-user plan.
- Family — Everything in Parent, plus add up to 5 family members to share tracking.
To change plans, go to Settings → Profile → your current plan → Change Plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Babbl Baby → Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of your billing period.
How do notifications work?
The Hub sends push notifications for feeding reminders, diaper reminders, nap suggestions, medication timers, pumping reminders, and vaccine/checkup reminders. Medication timers count down and notify you when it's safe for the next dose.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete individual events and children directly within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email support@babblbaby.ai and we'll process it within 30 days. If you are the family owner, all family data will be deleted — we'll notify family members first.
Troubleshooting
I hit a message limit
All plans have generous hourly and daily limits. Wait a bit and try again.
I got an empty response
Try asking again — it usually works on retry.
Events from another family member aren't showing
Make sure they've joined your family through the invitation link.
Medical analytics aren't visible
Only the family owner and parents (Mother/Father roles) can see medical data (Health, Growth, Checkups, Immunizations).
Pumping isn't showing
Enable "Track Pumping" in Settings → Profile and make sure your role is set to Mother.
